Editorial Standards & Principles
At Mensfitnutri, we are committed to delivering accurate, evidence-informed nutrition guidance for men's health. Our editorial standards ensure every article meets rigorous fact-checking, source verification, and ethical publishing criteria. We believe transparency and accountability are foundational to building trust with our readers.
The information on this site is for educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions.
Our Editorial Principles
These five core principles guide every decision we make about content creation, review, and publication.
Evidence-Based Accuracy
Every claim about nutrition, health, and fitness is grounded in peer-reviewed research or expert consensus. We cite sources, distinguish between proven findings and emerging research, and avoid overstated conclusions. If evidence is limited, we explicitly state that limitation.
Expert Authorship
Our writers include registered dietitians, certified nutrition specialists, and health journalists with years of professional experience. Every author's credentials are published with their article. We hire subject-matter experts and editors who understand the nuances of nutrition science and Indonesian health contexts.
Transparency & Disclosure
We clearly identify sponsored or partner content. Conflicts of interest are disclosed. We explain our editorial review process and how we source information. Our readers deserve to understand where our guidance comes from and whose interests may be involved.
Reader Safety & Responsibility
We never position ourselves as a replacement for medical advice. Articles include clear disclaimers directing readers to consult healthcare providers for individual health concerns. We avoid language that implies we can diagnose, treat, or cure health conditions. Your wellbeing is paramount.
Corrections & Continuous Improvement
If we publish an error, we correct it promptly and note the correction. We actively seek reader feedback to identify gaps or inaccuracies. Our editorial standards evolve as science advances. We view corrections as proof that we take accuracy seriously.
Indonesian Context & Relevance
While we draw on global nutrition science, we contextualize advice for Indonesian men. We consider local food availability, cultural preferences, traditional practices, and health priorities. Evidence that works in one region may need adaptation for another.
Our Fact-Checking Process
Every article undergoes multiple stages of review before publication to ensure quality and accuracy.
Expert Research & Drafting
Our writer researches peer-reviewed studies, expert guidelines, and reputable sources. They synthesize findings into clear, actionable guidance while documenting every reference. All claims are supported by citations.
Internal Editorial Review
An independent editor checks the article for accuracy, clarity, and completeness. They verify citations, challenge unsupported statements, and ensure language is appropriate for our audience. This is not the author's peer.
Subject-Matter Expert Review
For complex topics, we engage an external specialist—often a registered dietitian, nutritionist, or relevant health professional—to review the article. They verify scientific accuracy, identify missing context, and suggest improvements.
Final Checks & Publication
We perform a final check for consistency, tone, compliance with our editorial standards, and any factual updates. Only then is the article published with author credentials, date, and revision history visible to readers.
Our Editorial Team & Advisors
Our team brings together experienced journalists, nutrition experts, and health professionals committed to evidence-based publishing.

Corrections & Updates Policy
How We Handle Errors
If a factual error is discovered in an article—whether caught internally or reported by a reader—we correct it as soon as possible. Corrections are made directly in the article and clearly marked with a note at the top explaining what was changed and when. We do not hide or rewrite corrections silently. Our goal is to maintain accuracy and reader trust.
Updates for Emerging Science
Nutrition science evolves. When new peer-reviewed research substantially changes our understanding of a topic, we update the relevant article and note the update date. We distinguish between minor corrections (typos, clarifications) and substantive updates (new evidence, revised guidance). Readers can see the article's revision history.
Reader Feedback & Corrections
We welcome reader feedback on our articles. If you notice an error, missing context, or outdated information, please email us at [email protected] with specific details. Include the article title, the claim in question, and source or evidence. Our editorial team will review and respond within 7 business days. All legitimate corrections are credited to the reader.
Retraction
In rare cases where an article is found to be seriously flawed or unsupported—despite our review process—we may retract it entirely. When this happens, we publish a notice explaining why and identifying the article by title and date. The article remains accessible but is clearly marked as retracted. Transparency about failures strengthens credibility.
